Mark LaCour is an Assistant Profesor of psychology at LSUA. He earned his B.A. in philosophy (with a minor in cognitive science) and an M.S. in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Texas Tech University along with a graduate certificate in quantitative methods. Mark does research on beliefs and attitudes: How they form, how they change, and how they affect behavior. His research has focused on vaccine hesitancy, attitudes towards food technologies (e.g., GMOs).


Zebulon (Zeb) Bell is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at LSU of Alexandria. He earned a BA in Psychology from Auburn University, an MS in Psychology from Georgia Southern University, and a PhD in Psychology from Oakland University. His research interests include spatial and temporal cognition in both human and nonhuman animals, STEM identity and inclusion in underrepresented minorities, and captive animal welfare and enrichment. More specifically, Zeb is interested in how we navigate through physical space, how we understand and process musical rhythm, how to increase opportunities for students to get into STEM careers, and how to keep zoo and sanctuary animals happy and healthy.
